About

You get us. Not a call centre with our photograph on it.

There are teams where you meet the name on the sign once and deal with somebody else for the next four months. This is not one of those.

Martin and Kim Hawley

Martin and Kim Hawley

Husband and wife, and the two people who will actually show up.

We sell houses in Lee and Collier County. Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Estero, Bonita Springs, Naples, and out to the islands.

We have worked this market through a boom, through Ian, and through whatever this current stretch turns out to be called. That matters mostly for one reason: we know which streets took water, which associations are still arguing about their roof, and which numbers on a listing sheet to be suspicious of.

Martin is a licensed real estate broker associate in Florida. Kim runs the side of it that clients feel most, which is whether anyone rings you back.

How we work

Three things we do differently, and why.

We give you the bad number first

Any agent can tell you what you want to hear and take the listing. It costs you three months and it costs us our reputation, so we would rather have the awkward conversation while you can still do something about it.

Every listing gets its own app

Not a page on our website. Its own address, with the survey, the inspection, the disclosures, the real bills and the flood zone. Buyers get their objections answered in week one instead of week six.

The tools work against us on purpose

Our rent versus buy calculator says rent, on its default numbers. If a tool cannot tell you no, it is not a tool, it is an advert.

Since July 2017

416 pieces written about this market.

Monthly updates for every city we cover, and the things nobody tells you until it is too late to matter. What a condo association's finances actually mean. Why the fee on a 1975 beach building is not what it looks like. Which Cape Coral canals reach the Gulf without a bridge.

Nine years of it, and none of it written by a marketing company.

Ring us before you need us.

The best time to ask a question about buying or selling is well before you are ready to do either. It costs nothing and we are not going to put you on a mailing list for it.
