Martin Hawley
REALTOR®

Martin is a fifth-generation native Floridian with a long history in real estate investing. Martin loves helping people achieve their dream of homeownership and realize financial independence through investment properties.

Martin realized his intensity for helping people gain economic freedom years ago after a family tragedy. His father had lost everything and was on the verge of throwing in the towel. During one year of coaching and consulting, Martin helped his dad purchase a 143-unit storage facility and two profitable seven-unit commercial office/warehouse facilities. These acquisitions set his parents back on track to retirement, where they enjoy a comfortable life today. Now Martin is in the real estate business full-time to help others achieve the American dream.

But this was not enough for Martin. Martin left a thriving business to pursue a career in ministry and became a church planter and revitalizer. After planting Praise Tabernacle in Bonita Springs, Martin helped a young Spanish pastor get his start in ministry, and eventually, this pastor took over the ministry in Bonita. Then, Martin helped revitalize an inner-city church in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Truth Tabernacle of Praise.

During his tenure at Truth, Martin’s church established a Haitian congregation and built an after-school learning center to help impoverished youth graduate high school. One young girl, Candice, failed the eighth grade several times when her principal and guidance counselor met with her and her grandma to let them know school is not for everyone. Pastor counseled them not to give up and commit to the learning center every day after school. She had to be tutored in everything: reading, math, English, and science. Pastor tutored Candice in basic math then Algebra. By the end of the year, Candice was on the “B” honor roll. Several years later, Candice graduated earlier than expected with honors.

Martin and his wife Kim now use their resources to help revitalize churches.

In addition to church work, Brookhaven Town in New York recruited Martin and appointed him to the Town Ethics Board. He has a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Phoenix and received his biblical studies from Nazarene Bible College.
